ACUPUNCTURE

 

Overview
Our "Traditional Eastern Medicine" (TEM) particularly includes acupuncture and phytotherapy as a part of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

1. Gynaecological acupuncture

Menstrual problems, hormonal disturbances, hormone-dependent migraines, fertility, menstrual pain, menopause complaints (sweating, hot flushes, depression), osteoporosis, bone and joint pains, cellulite, connective tissue weakness, vein insufficiency, myomas, endometriosis, adhesion pains (after operations, inflammations), clearing of scars.

2. Pain management acupuncture

Headaches, migraines, menstrual pains, lumbago, sciatica, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, shoulder-arm syndrome, spinal pain (cervical vertebrae syndrome, lumbar vertebrae syndrome, thoracic spine syndrome), hip pain, knee pain, elbow pain, adhesion pains (after operations, inflammations), scar pain, tumour pain, metastasis pain (supplementary to orthodox therapy), etc. Acupuncture is particularly effective when combined with deacidification, magnetic field therapy, neural therapy, injection and oxygen-ozone therapy and mesotherapy.

3. Regulatory acupuncture

In the event of sugar or fat metabolism disorders, digestive problems, excess weight, high blood pressure, cholesterol illness, tinnitus, electro-sensibility, alcohol and nicotine dependency, food intolerances, cardiac dysrhythmia, allergies, hay fever, weather sensitivity, depression, anxieties, restlessness, etc.

4. Acupuncture for the immune system

In the event of stress, burn-out syndrome, states of exhaustion, cancer, immune deficiency, low resistance, frequent infections. Preventively as an anti-aging measure, indirectly for boosting the metabolism, the lymph, intestines, liver and spleen, for harmonising the hormone system, for psychological balance, for boosting the bone and connective tissue metabolism, for boosting the psychological immune system: Reduction of depressions and anxieties.

5. Combined acupuncture

We also combine acupuncture with cupping, heat and moxa therapy, electro-stimulation acupuncture, etc. Electro-acupuncture according to Voll (EAV), laser acupuncture, magnetic field therapy (www.magnetodyne.de), oscillating massage with infrared deep heat and mesotherapy.

Background information
Schulte-Uebbing was awarded the certificate of added qualification in "Acupuncture" by the Medical Association when this title was introduced. He has both of the available acupuncture diplomas (Diploma A and Diploma B). For many years, he has been a guest lecturer at the Deutsche Ärztegesellschaft für Akupunktur [German Physicians' Association for Acupuncture] (DÄGfA, www.dägfa.de) and has given numerous courses and seminars for physicians. Main focus areas: "Acupuncture in Gynaecology", "Acupuncture in Environmental Medicine", "Acupuncture in Oncology", "Ear Acupuncture in Gynaecology" (together with Axel Rubach, MD). He has led a number of courses for obstetricians and midwives, focussing on "Acupuncture in Obstetrics". He is the author of the textbook for gynaecologists and midwives entitled "Akupunktur für Schwangerschaft, Geburt und Wochenbett (Acupuncture for Pregnancy, Birth and the Childbed), De Gruyter-Verlag, Berlin/New York, 2000 (264 pages). He is co-author of the acupuncture guidelines for gynaecologists. He has written numerous publications on acupuncture in the last 20 years.
