1. Bio-hormone therapy

Overview
We have a separate bio-hormone consultation. In a comprehensive discussion, you describe your problems, complaints and wishes, and we provide you with information on the possibilities and limitations of our bio-hormone therapy. We then carry out an individual hormone analysis in our own hormone laboratory.

Diagnostik
In our own hormone laboratory, we can determine all important hormones, including those that are important from an anti-aging point of view (for example, the "anti-stress hormone" DHEA, the "happiness hormone" serotonin, the "growth hormone" STH, the "heart attack risk hormone" homocysteine, etc.). In addition, we recommend an individual analysis of the immune status, the mineral and trace element balance and an individual analysis of toxin loads. We then offer you an individual therapy concept.

Therapy
We have a number of formulas with phytohormones (= plant hormones) such as ointments, mother tinctures, decoctions and teas. Where necessary, we also combine our biological hormone therapy with orthodox medical therapy concepts. For general vitalisation and rejuvenation, we offer you individual detoxification and deacidification therapies and immunotherapies. Our connective tissue and lymph therapy, the colon immune stimulation therapy and the oxygen, ozone own-blood and mesotherapy, etc., have proven themselves.

2. Bowel incontinence

Overview
One out of every three to four women over 40 and half of the women over 60 suffer from bowel incontinence. It's never too early for prevention.

Diagnostics
Using our pelvic floor analysis, we can diagnose and treat pelvic floor weakness while it is still in the early stages. We use 3D ultrasound to measure your pelvic floor structures, and we carry out pelvic floor function tests, pressure measurements and so-called urodynamic measurements (measurement of the bladder control functions). We measure your individual risk for connective tissue weakness (genetic examination, analysis of your habits), use ultrasound to measure your connective tissue structure, analyse your hormone, mineral, trace element and immune status, measure your bone density and elasticity, etc. Then we work out a holistic concept for improving your pelvic floor.

Therapy
We use the so-called NEO CONTROL® pelvic floor therapy, a unique new pelvic floor magnetic field therapy which we combine with bio-hormone therapy. In addition, we prepare an individual nutrition and exercise plan for you. Special infusions for deacidification and optimisation of the connective tissue supply, optionally also with connective tissue and lymph therapy, acupuncture and mesotherapy, have proven valuable.

3. Breast cancer screening

Breast cancer self-exam
We recommend that you examine both breasts yourself at least once a month (in the first half of the cycle, if possible). You should also examine the lymph region (armpit, collarbone and throat area). If you can feel lumps or notice one-sided pulling, one-sided pain, a feeling of pressure on one side or a change in the sensitivity, you should come to us immediately. Schulte-Uebbing will then conduct a precise examination and possibly a breast ultrasound, a 3D ultrasound or MammoVision® (infrared diagnostics). Where necessary, further technical examinations (x-ray mammography, MRT (MRI scan), CT (computer tomography)) will be ordered.

Mammography screening
From the ages of 50 to 69, an X-ray mammogram should be done every other year ("Stufe-3-Leitlinie Brustkrebs-Früherkennung in Deutschland" [Stage 3 Guidelines for Early Detection of Breast Cancer in Germany].

Expanded breast cancer screening
We offer you two additional, supplementary methods: 3D ultrasound and Mammo Vision® (infrared diagnostics). Scientific studies have shown that breast cancer can often display an altered infrared spectrum, even in the early stages. We recommend Mammo Vision® and 3D ultrasound to all women as a supplementary, radiation-free and pain-free procedure.

4. Cancer

Overview
We offer you cancer diagnostics and therapy according to the guidelines of the Munich Tumour Centre, the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich and the Munich Technical University, as well as the guidelines and recommendations of the Bayerische Krebsgesellschaft [Bavarian Cancer Society]. Furthermore, we offer you supplementary, complementary diagnostics and therapy with naturopathic, environmental medicine and traditional emphases according to the recommendations and guidelines of the Gesellschaft für Erfahrungsheilkunde [Society for Empirical Medicine), the Zentralverband der Ärzte für Naturheilverfahren (ZÄN) [Central Association of Naturopathic Physicians], and the Gesellschaft für Biologische Krebsabwehr [Association for Biological Cancer Resistance].

Collaboration
For many years, the work with the oncology departments of the Munich clinics and the Munich Tumour Centre has proven to be very productive. In addition to the orthodox standard, we offer our patients holistic oncology therapies. This includes oncological psychosomatic medicine and oncological immunology.

Oncological diagnostics
The standard at our facility is the comprehensive general and oncological case history, the general and gynaecological examination, the individual oncological laboratory analysis including individual hormone and immune status, 3D ultrasound, colour ultrasound, Doppler ultrasound, etc. The oncological diagnostics, as a prerequisite for the holistic oncology therapy, are rounded out in cooperation with the oncology departments of the Munich clinics and the Munich Tumour Centre.

Complementary oncology therapy
In addition to the orthodox standard, (e.g., anti-hormone therapy, including with anti-oestrogens, aromatase inhibitors, GnRH analogues, etc.), we offer our patients a number of individual, supplementary (complementary) immune, detoxification and colonic cleansing therapies. This area includes: Individual immune infusions, anti-oxidant infusions, ozone therapy, oxygen therapy, colon immune stimulation therapy (CIST), acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, orthomolecular therapy, phytotherapy, mistletoe therapy, thymus therapy, organo-peptide therapy, regenerative cell therapy, therapy with dendritic cells, etc.

Oncological detoxification therapy
According to more recent investigations, many environmental toxins are known to be so-called carcinogenic and cancer-inducing factors. This includes the widest range of heavy metals, particularly lead, mercury (particularly from amalgam fillings), cadmium, cobalt, nickel, copper and aluminium, but also the widest range of solvents, pesticides, insecticides and wood preservatives, such as lindane, DDT, pentachlorophenol (PCP), hexachlorobenzene (HCB) and many others. The increasing technical exposure to electromagnetic fields (technical microwaves, mobile radio, radar, etc.) is also the topic of serious discussion among experts in this connection. We measure your individual toxin load. Then we establish an individual, gentle detoxification concept with simultaneous immune stimulation: Nutritional analysis and nutritional modification, individual therapeutic diet, immune-stimulating therapeutic fasting, location and cleansing of foci in the body, determination and purging of toxins, heavy metal detoxification: Chelation therapy, symbiosis control (microbiological therapy), bowel detoxification and strengthening, colon immune stimulation therapy (CIST), etc.

Oncological psychosomatic medicine
A malignant illness is threatening, and it disrupts and destroys the unity of body, soul and mind. In order to recover this unity, it is first important for one to consciously come to terms with the illness, in order then to confront it without fear. The soul of the therapy is the therapy of the soul. Even a malignant tumour can be beaten. Modern psycho-immunology assumes today that particularly negative experiences, illnesses, conflicts, negative stress, etc., lead to a weakening and finally an exhaustion of the emotional and physical immune system, which triggers, furthers or accelerates tumour growth. Due to more recent insights in psycho-endocrinology, we know that negative experiences, illnesses, conflicts, negative stress, etc., can disrupt and destroy the hormonal system, allowing hormone-dependent tumours (e.g., breast cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, etc.) to develop. In our facility, such psychosomatic correlations are analysed, discussed and integrated into the therapy concept.

Background information/oncology

10. Endometriosis

Overview
The treatment of endometriosis, a typical illness in the area of environmental medicine, has been one of the focal points of our Practice for many years. Endometriosis is a medical condition in which the endometrium (the uterus mucous membrane) grows outside the uterus. There are four stages of severity, distinguished by the intensity of the spread. Smaller endometrial foci are relatively common and are asymptomatic, but should nevertheless be treated as a preventive measure before they grow and result in complaints. As a preventive measure, we use phytotherapeutic agents such as the "endometriosis elixir" or the "G" drops for women (for strengthening the yellow body (corpus luteum)). Larger endometrial foci can (help) cause more severe disturbances in menstruation or contribute to increased and/or prolonged bleeding (menometrorrhagia) or painful periods (dysmenorrhea). If the endometriosis has affected the bladder and/or intestines, there can sometime be massive complaints in the area of these organs. Anaemia can also occur as the result of very heavy bleeding. Extensive endometriosis can lead to the occurrence of constant lower abdominal pain. The greater and more extensive the symptoms, the greater the mental trauma. By pressing on the bladder and/or intestines, extensive endometriosis can lead to severe symptoms (particularly premenstrually and perimenstrually), painful intercourse, painful bowel movements, constipation, etc.

Causes
Endometriosis always has hormonal (contributing) causes. In our own hormone laboratory, we conduct systematic analyses in order to find and treat the causes. Often (as with uterine myomatosis), we find a chronic deficiency of progesterone, DHEA and serotonin, with a relative surplus of cortisol, homocysteine and free testosterone. The experience with endometriosis that we have accumulated in our Practice (in more than ten years) shows again and again that there are obviously familial predispositions for endometriosis. We know and care for families in which not only one patient verifiably had or has endometriosis, but also her sister(s), mother, aunt(s) and daughter(s). The occurrence of endometriosis is often accompanied by myomas (uterine myomatosis). This is due to the fact that myomas and endometriosis can grow as the result of the same causes. Myomas, like endometriosis, can be stimulated and promoted by synthetic oestrogens. Again and again, it has been seen that the myoma and endometriosis growth depends on stress and hormones. A high level of stress leads to increased endometriosis growth, and a reduction in stress leads to reduced growth. The production or administration of surplus oestrogens can also stimulate growth. Again and again, it has been seen that intra-uterine diaphragms can also lead to increased endometriosis growth. When there is continuous administration of surplus oestrogens, routine 3D ultrasound checks show how even small, harmless endometrial foci (and even myomas) can grow astonishingly.

spring hoch

Environmental medicine causes
From our more than 15 years of environmental medical practice experience, we know that endometriosis very often occurs in the framework of environmental medical conditions. Some studies document that a number of toxins were found loaded in endometriosis and myoma tissue, and that these toxins (given the appropriate familial predisposition) apparently promote the growth of myomas: Heavy metals, such as lead, copper (e.g., from IUDs), cadmium, mercury (particularly from amalgam fillings), solvents such as toluol, benzene, formaldehyde, pesticides such as pentachlorophenol (PCP), hexachlorobenzene (HCB), lindane, etc. are often involved.

Diagnostics
After the general and gynaecological examinations, a 3D ultrasound examination is very useful in order to assess the position, shape, size and expanse of the endometrial foci and their position in relationship to neighbouring organs. Using 3D and colour ultrasound or Doppler ultrasound examination, we see whether and how the endometrial foci are supplied with blood. The individual hormone status, including immune and toxin status, is a prerequisite for establishing a therapy concept.

Therapy
Where possible, we try to use naturopathic methods to treat smaller endometrial foci that have almost no blood supply or only a slight blood supply and cause no or few symptoms. We analyse the hormone status, determine possible toxin sources and carry out a biological hormone therapy, combined with traditional Chinese acupuncture, immune therapy and selective detoxification and purging therapy. For more widespread findings, a combination of naturopathy and orthodox medicine is usually necessary. We analyse the hormone status, determine possible toxin sources, provide a combined hormone therapy (= phytotherapy + orthodox medicine hormone therapy) plus traditional Chinese acupuncture, immune therapy and selective detoxification and purging therapy. The success of the therapy is assessed in a closely-meshed manner with 3D ultrasound and colour ultrasound. Very widespread endometriosis must often first be cleaned up by surgery and/or treated with strong hormones (e.g., with so-called GnRH analogues). If surgical cleansing is necessary, we work with several very good and experienced surgical centres in Munich. Unfortunately, renewed occurrence and growth of endometriosis can occur after the operation if the actual causes have not been remedied. After the surgical cleansing, we recommend a holistic hormone-balancing, detoxifying and immune system-stimulating therapy for preventing relapses.

Phytotherapy
In the presence of causally-acting toxins, one fundamental goal of phytotherapy can and must be seen in detoxification and purging. In the framework of such detoxification and purging, a number of phytotherapeutic remedies have proven useful as a supplementary therapy, such as the endometrial herbal mixture (as tea or herbal pills), the "G" drops for women (for strengthening the yellow body (corpus luteum)), the so-called "endometriosis elixir", the "L" elixir (for promoting lymphatic activities), the strengthening elixir (= generally strengthening), etc. Under some circumstances, even larger endometrial foci can become smaller as the result of an appropriate detoxifying and purging treatment, and the symptoms can possibly abate or even disappear. Traditional Chinese acupuncture (TCA), electro-acupuncture according to Voll (EAV).

Additional therapy procedures
Modern procedures that have proven very successful in our Practice: Chelation therapy, ozone therapy, oxygen therapy, orthomolecular therapy, colon immune stimulation therapy, mesotherapy etc. If a naturopathic therapy is attempted when there are larger endometrial foci, it is necessary to check the progress in closely-meshed intervals with 3D ultrasound, colour ultrasound, colour Doppler ultrasound and possibly also with further diagnostic measures.

11. Environmentally-induced gynaecological illnesses

Overview
Numerous studies document that many gynaecological problems and illnesses are caused or contributed to by environmental toxins. Here is a partial list in this area: Failure to conceive, miscarriages, menstrual problems, hormonal disturbances, malignant tumours such as breast cancer and uterine cancer, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, myomas, painful intercourse, reduced libido, etc.). When requested, we provide comprehensive consultation on environmental medicine connections and arrange toxin contaminant analyses.

Diagnostics
We conduct an environmental medicine talk (case history) with you, conduct the appropriate medical examinations where necessary and arrange a systematic toxin analysis where appropriate. We have also worked in this area with appropriately qualified institutes and laboratories for many years, including the toxicology department at the Munich Technical University (TU) and the Klinikum Rechts der Isar [Rechts der Isar University Teaching Hospital] in Munich. Should there be a corresponding suspicion of toxins at home or at work and you request it, we arrange for the corresponding investigations by qualified engineers or construction biologists, who can carry out investigations at your home or workplace as required. They can determine toxin sources, make specific measurements, take samples (e.g., from floor, wall and ceiling materials, carpets, wardrobes, cabinets, wallpaper, textiles, etc.) and arrange for the corresponding analyses. If toxin loads are suspected in body fluid samples (e.g., blood, urine, saliva, vaginal secretions, sperm, etc.), we can send samples to special laboratories for testing for toxins (e.g., heavy metals lead, cadmium, mercury, thallium, etc., pesticides, plant protectants, solvents, wood preservatives, dioxins, furans, neurotoxic substances, etc.).

Environmental medicine opinions and reports
If the corresponding toxicological loads are present, Schulte-Uebbing can make an environmental medicine appraisal and prepare an individual detoxification plan for you.

Detoxification therapies
For many years, we have offered our environmental medicine patients a number of traditional and modern detoxification therapies. These include chelation therapy, connective tissue and lymph therapy, detoxification-phytotherapy, physical-chemical detoxification baths and detoxification mesotherapy. These also include fasting and dieting cures and a number of methods from the area of traditional western medicine, special detoxification methods according to Father Sebastian Kneipp or Hildegard von Bingen, diverse traditional cupping techniques, traditional bloodletting, and traditional Chinese detoxification methods, traditional Chinese acupuncture (TCA), electro-acupuncture according to Voll (EAV) and detoxification using bio-resonance therapy.

Background information
Germany has had the certificate of added qualification in "Environmental Medicine" for physicians since 1994. Schulte-Uebbing was one of the first physicians to receive this certificate of added qualification from the Bavarian Medical Association. Together with environmental physician Prof. Volker Zahn, MD, he already wrote one of the first textbooks in environmental medicine in 1990 (560 pages).

12. Fertility consultation

Overview
Today every third or fourth couple remains unwillingly childless without medical help and therapy. According to scientific studies, by the year 2020 half of all couples will be unwillingly childless. In 35% of the cases, the cause can be found in the man, in 40 - 45% in the woman and in roughly 25 - 35% in both.

Causes
In more than 70% of the cases in which there are problems conceiving, one talks of so-called "idiopathic sterility" (= exact cause is unknown). In these cases, a number of unfavourable factors from the environmental medicine, naturopathic and psychosomatic points of view come together, resulting in a failure to have children. Psychological stress: Stress and pressure (internal and external), particularly negative stress, conflicts, anger, negative burdens, etc., automatically activate internal protective mechanisms against further burdens, e.g., even against the massive additional stress from pregnancy, birth, caring for children, screaming children and family stress. While the rational side would like nothing more than to have a child, the subconscious emotional side says: "But I already have enough stress!" This completely blocks the emotional and physical harmony and suspends the immunological and hormonal harmony. In order to be fertile, men and women must have hormonal and immunological harmony. Our approach: "Life coaching", stress analysis, psychosomatic approach. Immunological causes: Immunological deficits are present in at least 60% of the women who do not become pregnant and in approximately 50% of the men who are not fertile. Our approach: We measure the immune status in our immunology laboratory and conduct corresponding immunotherapies. Hormonal causes: Infertile women and men very frequently have hormonal deficiencies that are ultimately triggered by hormonal stress: Deficiencies of DHEA (the anti-stress hormone), serotonin (the happiness hormone) and STH (the growth hormone) are common. Not infrequently, we find increased levels of prolactin, cortisol (stress hormone), homocysteine (heart attack risk hormone) and free testosterone (male hormone). We measure the hormone status in our private hormone laboratory and treat problems with bio-hormones where possible. Environmental toxins: Scientific studies show that poisons can cause sterility and cancer. Correlations have been proven with mercury (particularly amalgam in the teeth), cadmium, lead, copper and aluminium, solvents (particularly xylene, toluol and benzene), wood preservatives (particularly HCB, PCP, lindane and formaldehyde). We conduct toxin analyses and selective detoxification therapies, e.g., with chelation infusions.

Our concept
When there is a desire for children, we use procedures to support and harmonise the psyche and hormone and immune systems. The big deacidification cure combined with immune and antioxidant infusions plus ozone or oxygen HOT therapy is very effective. In addition, we use traditional Chinese acupuncture with cupping techniques and mesotherapy, as well as formulas from traditional western medicine (Hildegard und Kneipp formulas), traditional eastern medicine (Chinese medicinal herbs) and classic homeopathy as supplements.

13. 4D ultrasound

Overview
We offer you 4D ultrasound (3D ultrasound in real time, i.e., the fourth dimension is time) and, where applicable, colour Doppler ultrasound as supplementary screening measures (= cancer screening plus) and as a supplementary breast cancer screening measure (= breast cancer screening plus).

4D pelvic ultrasound
Gynaecological organs (uterus, Fallopian tubes and ovaries), bladder and rectum can be depicted in three dimensions with the help of 3D ultrasound. Conspicuous findings, such as cysts, myomas, polyps, etc., can consequently be better evaluated. The blood circulation can additionally be depicted with colour Doppler ultrasound. This often makes it easier to distinguish benign and malignant findings.

4D pelvic floor analysis
This procedure makes it possible to diagnose a pelvic floor weakness even in the early stages. 3D ultrasound allows pelvic floor structures to be depicted. Measurement results from the pelvic floor function tests, the bladder and vaginal pressure measurements and urodynamic measurements (measurement of the bladder control functions) are meaningfully supplemented by 3-D ultrasound.

4D breast ultrasound
In addition to the (at least once a month) breast self-examination, we recommend that you undergo 3D breast ultrasound once a year as a supplementary radiation-free and pain-free procedure, in the framework of the expanded breast cancer screening.

14. Hormonal connective tissue weakness

Diagnostics
We measure your connective tissue structure (radiation-free, with Kollagenoson®, an ultrasound device designed especially for this purpose) and your bone structure (density and elasticity, radiation-free, with Achilles®, an ultrasound device designed especially for this purpose), analyse your individual risk for connective tissue weakness (genetic examination and analysis of your habits), measure your hormone, mineral, trace element and immune status, etc. Then we work out a holistic concept for improving your connective tissue.

Therapy
The components of therapy for connective tissue weakness include an individual nutrition plan, exercise plan, optimisation of the hormones (using bio-hormone therapy), a deacidification cure (using infusions) and connective tissue and lymph therapy. Useful supplements to the therapy concept are traditional Chinese acupuncture, mesotherapy and magnetic field therapy.

15. Hormone consultation

Main focus areas
Main focus areas are hormonal disturbances in men and women (consultation with men together with Dr. Jordan, Urologist). We have our own hormone laboratory in which we conduct individual hormone analyses, including under anti-aging aspects. We then offer you an individual concept: Biological hormone therapy (BHT), combined with orthodox medicine, where appropriate. We have a number of formulas with phytohormones (= plant hormones), such as ointments, mother tinctures, decoctions and teas). In addition, an analysis of the immune status, the mineral and trace element balance and the toxin loads can be useful. Our individual detoxification and deacidification therapies and immunotherapy can also contribute to improving the overall hormonal situation and to general vitalisation and rejuvenation. Our connective tissue and lymph therapy, the colon immune stimulation therapy and the oxygen, ozone own-blood and mesotherapy, etc. have proven themselves.

As a part of the expanded cancer screening, we offer you special HPV smears, conduct 4D pelvic ultrasound and colour Doppler ultrasound examinations upon request, determine your individual immune status and compile an individual naturopathy-oriented therapy concept for you.

17. Incontinence

One out of every three to four women over 40 and half of the women over 60 suffer from incontinence, i.e., urinary incontinence, bowel incontinence or both together. It becomes more and more difficult to control the bladder and/or rectal-anal functions in every situation. It's never too early for prevention. Using our pelvic floor analysis, we can diagnose and treat pelvic floor weakness while it is still in the early stages. With 3D pelvic ultrasound, we can measure your pelvic floor structures and conduct a special pelvic floor function test (including with pressure measurements, so-called urodynamic measurements, bladder control function measurements, etc.). We measure your individual risk for connective tissue weakness (genetic examination, analysis of your habits), use ultrasound to measure your connective tissue structure, analyse your hormone, mineral, trace element and immune status, measure your bone density and elasticity, etc. Then we work out a holistic concept for improving your pelvic floor: We use the so-called NEO CONTROL® pelvic floor therapy, a modern, unique pelvic floor therapy procedure which we combine with individual internal and external bio-hormone therapy. In addition, we prepare an individual nutrition and exercise plan for you. Special infusions for deacidification and optimisation of the connective tissue supply, possibly also with connective tissue and lymph therapy, traditional Chinese acupuncture, mesotherapy and magnetic field therapy, have proven valuable.

In addition to breast self-examination and palpation of the breast as a part of cancer screening in our facilities, we recommend Mammo Vision® as a supplementary, pain-free, safe and radiation-free diagnostic procedure: Suitable for all women, but particularly for younger woman 20 years of age or older, once a year. From the age of 50 to 69, we additionally recommend X-ray mammogram screening every two years, in accordance with the "Brustkrebs-Früherkennung in Deutschland" [Early Breast Cancer Detection in Germany] Stage-3 guideline which is binding for us. For patients aged 50 to 69, Mammo Vision® is no substitute for X-ray mammography, but instead a useful supplement that can bring more certainty.

19. Menopause complaints

The "change of life" (menopause) comes sometime between the 40th and 60th year of life: The hormones change, the oestrogens (and other hormones, particularly the anti-aging hormones) decrease, there are hot flushes and sweating, and a decrease in the physical and psychological limits. After menopause come bone atrophy and muscle atrophy, connective tissue weakness, drying of the mucous membranes, loss of libido, reduced sexual capacity, etc. We have a separate hormone consultation and bio-hormone consultation for women before, during and after menopause: For everyone who, where possible, wants to have no problems with menopause, who is afraid of menopause, who wants to keep the optimal supply of hormones (without wanting to swallow hormones with many side-effects), etc. We carry out an individual hormone analysis in our own hormone laboratory. This also allows all hormones that are important with respect to anti-aging aspects to be determined. We use ultrasound to measure your connective tissue structures and your bone density and elasticity. We conduct a pelvic floor analysis and then prepare an individual concept just for you.

20. Menstrual consultation hours

In a detailed discussion, you describe your menstrual problems to us. We offer you a comprehensive general and gynaecological examination, optionally with 3D ultrasound and colour Doppler ultrasound, or pelvic floor analysis or special laboratory checks: We conduct an individual hormone analysis in our own hormone laboratory (Weinstr. 8) and an individual immune analysis in our own immunology laboratory (Münzstr. 4). In addition, we recommend an individual analysis of the mineral and trace element balance and an individual analysis of toxin loads. Once all examinations have been completed, we offer you an individual therapy concept. For general menstrual regulation, there are a number of traditional compositions, particularly with so-called phytohormones (= plant hormones), such as ointments, mother tinctures, decoctions and teas. Where necessary, we also combine our biological hormone therapy (BHT) with orthodox medical therapy concepts. To improve the overall hormonal situation and for general vitalisation and rejuvenation, we offer you individual detoxification and deacidification therapies and immunotherapies. Our connective tissue and lymph therapy, the colon immune stimulation therapy and the oxygen, ozone own-blood and mesotherapy, etc., have proven themselves.

21. Migraine consultation

The diagnosis and therapy of migraines is a special focal point in our facility. Migraines very frequently have hormonal (contributing) causes. We conduct individual hormone analyses in our own hormone laboratory, also including under anti-aging aspects. We then use biological hormone therapy (BHT), combined with hormone therapy concepts from orthodox medicine, where appropriate. There are quite often very good phytotherapy formulas (plant hormones, e.g., in the form of ointments, mother tinctures, decoctions, teas). In addition, in cases of chronic migraines, an analysis of the immune status, mineral and trace element status and toxin status can be useful. In order to control migraines that have been going on for many years, general vitalisation must be attempted, in addition to improving the overall hormonal situation. Our individual detoxification and deacidification therapies and immunotherapy have proven themselves many times in this area. Our lymph therapy, colon immune stimulation therapy and the oxygen, ozone own-blood and mesotherapy can also be very effective.

22. Myomas

Overview
The treatment of myomas, a typical environmental medicine illness, has been one of the focal points of our Practice for many years. Myomas are benign muscular growths of the uterus. They can be located under the mucous membrane (sub-mucous), in the muscle (intramural) or outside on the muscle (pedunculated or subserous). Small myomas often require no treatment. A number of myomas or one or more larger myomas can cause massive complaints, however. Myomas are always benign, but in very rare cases can also be malignant sarcomas.

Causes
Myomas always have hormonal (contributing) causes. In our own hormone laboratory, we conduct systematic analyses in order to find and treat the causes. Often we find, as with endometriosis, a chronic insufficiency of progesterone (= yellow body hormone), DHEA (= anti-stress hormone) and serotonin (= happiness hormone), with a relative excess of cortisol (= stress hormone), homocysteine (= arteriolosclerosis risk hormone) and free testosterone (= male hormone). The experience with myomas that we have accumulated in our Practice (in more than ten years) shows again and again that there are obviously familial predispositions for myomas. We know and care for families in which not only one patient verifiably had or has myomas, but also her sister(s), mother, aunt(s) and daughter(s). The occurrence of myomas is often simultaneously accompanied by endometriosis. This is due to the fact that myomas and endometriosis often can have the same causes. Myomas, like endometriosis, can be stimulated and promoted by synthetic oestrogens. Again and again, it has been seen that myoma and endometriosis growth depends on stress and hormones. A great deal of stress leads to increased myoma growth, a reduction in stress leads to reduced growth. The production or administration of excess female hormones (oestrogens) can also stimulate growth. Again and again, it has been seen that intra-uterine diaphragms (IUDs) can also lead to increased myoma growth. When there is continuous administration of excess female hormones (oestrogens), routine ultrasound checks show how even small myomas with almost no blood supply can suddenly obtain thicker blood vessels and grow astonishingly rapidly. Environmental medicine causes: From our more than 15 years of environmental medical practice experience, we know that uterine myomas (= uterine myomatosis) very frequently occur in the framework of environmental medical conditions. Some studies document that a number of toxins were found loaded in myoma tissue (as with endometriosis tissue) and that these toxins (given the appropriate familial predisposition) apparently promote the growth of myomas: Heavy metals, such as lead, copper (e.g., from IUDs), cadmium, mercury (particularly from amalgam fillings), solvents such as toluol, benzene and formaldehyde, pesticides such as PCP, HCB, DDT, lindane, dioxins, furans, etc. are often involved.

spring hoch

Symptoms
Smaller myomas are very common and harmless and do not require treatment. As a preventive measure against smaller myomas, we use phytotherapeutic agents (= medicinal herb mixtures) such as the "myoma elixir" or the so-called "G" women's drops (for strengthening the yellow body (corpus luteum)). Larger myomas can (help) cause more severe disturbances in menstruation or contribute to increased and/or prolonged bleeding (menometrorrhagia) or painful periods (dysmenorrhea). Anaemia can also occur as the result of very heavy bleeding. Multiple and larger myomas can lead to the occurrence of constant lower abdominal pain. The more myomas that develop, the greater and more extended the symptoms can be. By pressing on the bladder and/or intestines, large myomas can lead to severe symptoms (particularly premenstrually and perimenstrually), painful intercourse, painful bowel movements, constipation, etc.

Diagnostics
After the general and gynaecological examination, a 3D ultrasound examination is very useful in order to assess the position, shape, and size of the myomas and their position in relationship to neighbouring organs. Using 3D and colour ultrasound or Doppler ultrasound examination, we see whether and how the myoma or myomas are supplied with blood and whether there is possibly a suspicion of a malignancy (e.g., sarcoma). The individual hormone status, including immune and toxin status, is a prerequisite for establishing a therapy concept.

Therapy
Where possible, we try to use naturopathic methods to treat smaller myomas that have almost no or only a slight blood supply and cause no or few symptoms. We analyse the hormone status, determine possible toxin sources and conduct a biological hormone therapy (BHT) combined with traditional Chinese acupuncture, immune therapy and selective detoxification and purging therapy. If a naturopathic therapy is attempted when there are larger myomas, it is necessary to check the progress in closely-meshed intervals with 3D ultrasound, colour Doppler ultrasound, and, where appropriate, also with further diagnostic measures, e.g., computer tomogram (CT), magnetic resonance tomography (MRT), abdominoscopy (= diagnostic laparoscopy), etc. When there are larger myomas, a combination of naturopathic and orthodox medicine concepts is required. We analyse the hormone status, determine possible toxin sources, carry out a combined therapy with phytotherapy (= medicinal herbs formulas) and orthodox medicine hormone therapy (e.g., gestagens, e.g., Winobanin, e.g., GnRH + analogues, etc.) plus traditional Chinese acupuncture, possibly also with immune therapy, deacidification, detoxification or purging therapy. The success of the therapy is assessed in a closely-meshed manner using hormone analyses, examinations, 3D ultrasound and colour Doppler ultrasound, etc. A very large uterine myomatosis must usually be treated with strong hormones (e.g., with so-called GnRh analogues) or cleaned up surgically. If surgical cleansing is necessary, we work with several very good and experienced surgical centres in Munich.

spring hoch

Surgical techniques
If surgery is necessary, there are generally two options: Operations that retain the uterus or ones that remove the uterus (hysterectomy). Operations that retain the uterus are the so-called myoma enucleation (= shelling out the myomas) or so-called embolisation (= occluding the vessels supplying the myoma). The decision as to whether surgery can be performed that retains the uterus depends on the findings in the individual case. It is possible to operate without retaining the organ when there is a so-called sarcoma (malignant uterine tumour) or a very large myoma. If surgery that retains the organ is performed, there can be renewed occurrence and growth of myomas if the causes for the myoma growth have not been remedied.

Therapy after myoma enucleation or myoma embolisation
After myoma enucleation or myoma embolisation, we recommend a selective hormone, immune and toxin analysis and then an appropriate hormone-balancing, immune system-stimulating and detoxifying therapy. Here phytotherapeutic formulas have proven very useful, such as the myoma herbal mixture (as a tea or herbal tablets), the "G" women's drops (= gestagen-promoting), the so-called "myoma elixir", the "L" elixir (that promotes lymphatic activities), the strengthening elixir (= generally strengthening), etc. Under some circumstances, even larger myomas can become smaller as the result of an appropriate detoxifying and purging treatment, and the symptoms can possibly abate or even disappear. Modern detoxification therapies, particularly chelation therapies (e.g., with EDTA, DMPS, DMSA, DPTA, etc.) and immune stimulation procedures (e.g., ozone therapy, oxygen therapy, orthomolecular therapy, colon immune stimulation therapy, mesotherapy, etc.) have proven very useful in preventing relapses of myomas.

23. Oncological consultation

We work according to the guidelines of the Munich Tumour Centre, the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich and the Munich Technical University. For many years, the work with the oncology departments of the Munich clinics and the Munich Tumour Centre has proven to be very productive. In addition to the orthodox standard, we offer our patients holistic oncology therapies. This includes oncological psychosomatic medicine and oncological immunology. Oncological diagnostics: The standard at our facility is the comprehensive general and oncological case history, the general and gynaecological examination, the individual oncological laboratory analysis including individual immune and hormone status, 3D ultrasound, colour ultrasound, colour Doppler, etc. The oncological diagnostics, as a prerequisite for the holistic oncology therapy, are rounded out in cooperation with the oncological departments of the Munich clinics and the Munich Tumour Centre (see also "Immunotherapy").

24. Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a wide-spread problem. Not infrequently, early signs of osteoporosis can already be seen between the ages of 30 and 40. And with menopause, massive bone loss can occur.

Causes
Disposition: (genetic, familial). "Good" or "poor" bones are (unfortunately) inherited. If the genetic conditions are good, one can take a few preventive precautions in order to ensure good bones even at an advanced age (and if the genetic conditions are poor, one should or must do so). If the genetic conditions are poor, insufficient or one-sided physical activity, one-sided nutrition with vitamin and mineral deficiencies, poorly adjusted hormones or a weak immune system can already lead to massive osteoporosis at a young age.
Hormonal dysfunctions: We analyse your hormones in our own hormone laboratory and compile an individual concept with bio-hormones for you: Very often there is a deficiency in oestradiol (female hormone), DHEA (anti-stress hormone), serotonin (happiness hormone) or STH (growth hormone). Often the aging hormones are elevated: Prolactin, cortisol, homocysteine, STH, IGF I, etc.
Poor immune system: In at least two-thirds of all osteoporosis cases, there are massive immunological deficits to some extent. Our approach: We measure your immune status and compile your individual immunotherapies.
Incorrect/insufficient movement: Regular movement is very crucial for bone metabolism. We prepare an exercise plan for you.
Dietary problems: We compile your nutritional plans and dietary supplements. In addition to a well-balanced diet rich in dietary fibre and vital substances, today it is also unfortunately necessary to supplement the diet with vitamins and minerals. We measure the vitamins and minerals in your body. If there is a deficiency, this is specifically balanced. Calcium is necessary for bone metabolism (encourages bone growth - dose approx. 800 mg/day, or 1,500 mg/day in the case of severe osteoporosis). Vitamin D must be present in order for the calcium to be incorporated into the bones. Fluoride increases the so-called trabecular bone mass. We recommend fluoride therapy only in cases of severe osteoporosis of the vertebral body, not as a prophylaxis, and not for longer than five years. Calcitonin incorporates calcium into the bones. Parathormone mobilises calcium from the bones (antagonist of calcitonin).
Insufficient UV radiation: UV radiation (sunlight) is necessary for the vitamin D to be effective.
Over-acidification: Stress, anger, conflicts, pressure, etc. promote over-acidification. Routine deacidification is the best anti-aging measure. Without deacidification, the vitamins and minerals from the diet are not absorbed and do not make their way into the bone metabolism. We make deacidification infusions.

Diagnostics
We measure your bone structure (density and elasticity) without radiation, using Achilles®, an ultrasound device designed specifically for this purpose. In addition, we can measure your connective tissue structure without radiation, using Kollagenoson®, an ultrasound device designed specifically for this purpose. Depending on the results of the osteoporosis and connective tissue measurements, further examinations are arranged: Osteoporosis laboratory check, hormone and immune status, dietary analysis, possibly food incompatibility test, possibly individual exercise analysis. We then prepare an individual therapy concept.

Therapy
Life-style changes, dietary and exercise plan. Our deacidification and osteoporosis infusions, our connective tissue and lymph therapy and our individual bio-hormone therapies are very effective. We compile individual dietary supplements for you. In addition to our infusion treatments, the ingestion of calcium, vitamin D, bisphosphonate preparations, MSM, chondroitin sulphate and glucosamine sulphate have proven useful. Externally, our sulphur ointment (special formula), the ointment of Hilarius (formula according to Hildegard von Bingen) and special bath additives with colloidal sulphur have proven very useful.

26. Pelvic floor consultation

Overview
Scientific studies show that one out of every three women over 40 has a slight pelvic floor weakness. Half of the women over 50 have a moderate pelvic floor weakness. Without preventive measures, later bladder control problems (urge or stress incontinence), bowel control problems (weak bowel sphincter muscle), impairments of the sexual sensitivity, etc., are pre-programmed.

Diagnostics
Using our pelvic floor analysis, we can diagnose a pelvic floor weakness while it is still in the early stages. We use 3D ultrasound to measure your pelvic floor structures, we conduct pelvic floor function tests and we make so-called urodynamic measurements. We determine your connective tissue structure (radiation-free, with Kollagenoson®, an ultrasound device designed especially for this purpose) and your bone structure (density and elasticity, radiation-free, with Achilles®, an ultrasound device designed especially for this purpose), record your individual risk for connective tissue weakness (genetic examination and analysis of your habits), analyse your hormone, mineral, trace element and immune status, etc. Then we work out a holistic concept for improving your pelvic floor.

Therapy
We use so-called NEO CONTROL® pelvic floor therapy, a modern, unique pelvic floor therapy method that can be combined with other methods: With bio-hormone therapy, with an individual nutrition and exercise plan or with special infusions for deacidification. In this way, it is possible to improve the overall connective tissue metabolism, and consequently the overall connective tissue structure. Further supplementary methods are, for example, connective tissue and lymph therapy, acupuncture, mesotherapy and magnetic field therapy.

27. Pelvic pain

In our so-called "pelvic pain consultation", we clear up the causes of your pelvic pain (discussion, examination, 4D ultrasound, infrared diagnostics, etc.) and offer you a holistic therapy concept based on the cause(s) (including naturopathic methods such as acupuncture, phytotherapy, magnetic field therapy, mesotherapy, NEO CONTROL® pelvic floor therapy, etc.).

28. Psychosomatic gynaecology

Overview
A very large number of physical illnesses have psychological (contributing) causes. This is why psychosomatic medicine is always integrated into the diagnostics and therapy in our Practice whenever possible.

Main focus areas
One area in which psychosomatic aspects are taken into consideration in our Practice is in the diagnoses and therapy of the following illnesses: Low resistance, anxieties, anorexia, discharge, burn-out syndrome, depressions, endometriosis, states of exhaustion, frequent infections, hair loss, cardiac dysrhythmia, hormonal disturbances, immune deficiency, sciatica, headaches, cancer, libido problems, lumbago, anorexia, myomas, migraines, partnership problems, painful menstruation, pain during intercourse, tinnitus, excess weight, excessive menopause complaints (sweating, hot flushes, bone and joint pains), restlessness, premature menopause, weather sensitivity, menstrual disturbances, and many more.

In the framework of the advanced training curriculum for additional qualification in Psychotherapy and for the title of Specialist in Psychotherapeutic Medicine at the Lehrkollegium Psychotherapeutische Medizin [Psychotherapeutic Medicine Training Council] in Munich (LPM e.V.), he took part in the Theory Seminars I (depth psychology, personality studies, test psychology, developmental psychology, learning psychology, psychopathology, psychodynamics of the family/group), II (general and special neuroses studies, psychodynamics/preparing opinions, eating disorders/bulimia/anorexia, borderline), III (depth psychology treatment technique, integrative psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychotherapy, depth psychology treatment technique, short psychotherapy, focal therapy, body-oriented psychotherapy). He also completed advanced training in psychiatric case seminars and family and couple therapy and routinely takes part in Balint groups and supervision.

29. Stress incontinence

Overview
One out of every three to four women over 40 and half of the women over 60 suffer from so-called stress incontinence. It's never too early for prevention.

Diagnostics
Using our pelvic floor analysis, we can diagnose and treat pelvic floor weakness while it is still in the early stages. We use special examination methods, such as 3D ultrasound, to measure your pelvic floor structures, and we conduct pelvic floor function tests, pressure measurements and so-called urodynamic measurements (measurement of the bladder control functions). We measure your individual risk for connective tissue weakness (genetic examination and analysis of your habits), use ultrasound to measure your connective tissue structure, analyse your hormone, mineral, trace element and immune status, measure your bone density and elasticity, etc.

30. Ultrasound consultation

We offer you 4D ultrasound and, where appropriate, colour Doppler ultrasound as a supplementary screening measure (= cancer screening plus) and as a supplementary breast cancer screening measure (= breast cancer screening plus). 3D pelvic ultrasound is also important as a part of the pelvic floor analysis. A pelvic floor weakness can already be diagnosed and treated in the early stages. 3D ultrasound allows pelvic floor structures to be depicted. Measurement results from the pelvic floor function tests, the bladder and vaginal pressure measurements and urodynamic measurements (measurement of the bladder control functions) are meaningfully supplemented by 3D ultrasound.

31. Urinary incontinence

One out of every three to four women over 40 and half of the women over 60 suffer from so-called urinary incontinence. It becomes more and more difficult to control the bladder functions in every situation. Many women then suffer from so-called urge or stress incontinence. It's never too early for prevention. Using our pelvic floor analysis, we can diagnose a pelvic floor weakness and treat it while it is still in the early stages. With 3D pelvic ultrasound, we can measure your pelvic floor structures and conduct pelvic floor function tests (including using pressure measurements, so-called urodynamic measurements, bladder control function measurements, etc.). We can measure your individual risk for connective tissue weakness: Genetic examination, analysis of your habits, etc. We can measure your connective tissue structure (radiation-free, with ultrasound), analyse your hormone, mineral, trace element and immune status and measure your bone density and elasticity (radiation-free, with ultrasound). We can work out a holistic concept for improving your pelvic floor. In our facilities, you can obtain the so-called NEO CONTROL® pelvic floor therapy, a unique pelvic floor therapy procedure which we can combine with individual internal and external bio-hormone therapy. In addition, we prepare an individual nutrition and exercise plan for you. Special infusions for deacidification and optimisation of the connective tissue supply, possibly also with connective tissue and lymph therapy, acupuncture, mesotherapy and magnetic field therapy, have proven valuable.
